Hedge Fund InformationIn this section I cover various Hedge Fund Information subjects regarding the different hedge fund types and strategies, leverage, hedge fund investing, recent developments, careers with hedge funds and a look behind the scenes to show how they operate. I'll try to cover some current topics in the news. For instance, as everyone knows, the latest hot topic seems to be the subprime mortgage crisis. Several notable hedge funds have decided to liquidate in the face of this disaster, Bear Stearns has gone under Lehman Brothers is gone and the Bernie Madoff scandal will take years to figure out what really happened. The situation is going to continue to get worse before it gets better. In situations like this, however, hedge funds that are able to act quickly enough and are not leveraged too far the wrong way, can take advantage of the situation and make a strong return. It will be very interesting to see which hedge fund turn out to be strong performers in 2008. I'll try to keep you updated. I have formed several hedge funds for clients over the years.
